Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) is commonly used in pharmaceutical formulations as both an adhesive and a diluent in oral tablets and capsules. It is suitable for both wet granulation and direct compression processes. In addition to its adhesive and diluent properties, MCC also offers certain lubricating and disintegrating effects. The MCC PH102 grade is particularly well-suited for direct compression due to its excellent flowability and compressibility.
