Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and low levels are an indicator of over training. It is important for after workout recovery, repair and re-growth of muscle tissue. Glutamine also has cell volumising effects. Ideally taken between meals or right after training. Exercise can lead to a decrease in plasma glutamine levels. Studies have shown that power athletes can have particularly low plasma glutamine. It also affects endurance athletes – after running a marathon glutamine levels are low for 6 – 9 hours. Low plasma glutamine is an indicator of over-training. Nutrisport Glutamine may help replenish low glutamine levels in the muscle.

Directions:
