Inulin is a starchy carbohydrate naturally occurring in foods. This amazing fibre has recently been featured on the BBC’s programme with Angela Rippon, ‘How to stay young’.
Since Inulin is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, it is considered to be a fibre. Inulin has a sweeter taste to it, so some people may definitely use this as a sweetener for a variety of things.
Since it is a fibre and is not digested in the gastrointestinal tract, it goes down to the large intestine where your bacteria use it to prosper, making it considered to be a pre-biotic.
Inulin offers a range of health benefits. Considered a pre-biotic, Inulin is a carbohydrate that good bacteria in your digestive system utilises to produce a number of nutrients which are beneficial towards human health. Recent studies have also suggested the role Inulin plays in contributing towards the metabolism of fat.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Inulin is high in fibre making this a great addition to your diet. Try adding 1 scoop (5g) to your shakes, smoothies or juice.
For optimum results use 1 or 2 servings of Pro-Elite Inulin as per your requirement.
